My Experience in the Local Church: A True Beginning
I have been a Christian for 20 years. I came to know the Lord at the age of 18 and it was indeed the most marvelous thing that happened to me, and for all that time it was great but I came to a point where I felt I had become stagnant. I felt that there had to be more. I knew in my heart that I could not feel the Lord in me. It wasn't until an aunt of mine came to visit a year ago and spoke to me about how the church is one Body made of many members who are all one that I began to learn and enjoy how to live in the spirit (Romans 8:4, 6, 9; John 4:24). And what I have learned and enjoyed in the recovery is how to live in the spirit and how God has mingled with my spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17). I never knew how to turn to my spirit much less live in the spirit. Praise God.
It's wonderful to see the church (the believers) in their simplicity and humbleness.
I thank the Lord for the local churches and for the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee.
